runAYWARD. Mesdames Ellertson and Dewey entertained the Ladies Aid last Wed nesday. It was the annual meeting and the following officers were elect ed: President—Mrs. CC. T. Nelson; Vice-President—Mrs. Ole Esse; Sec retary——Mrs. J. P. Hanson; Treasur er—Mrs. Chris Skaar; Rev. H. G. Magelssen of La Crosse Wis., lectured to the Y. P. S. in the church basement last Thursday even ing. His theme was a comparison of ancient and modern times and it was very interesting. Albert Spiehler took a carload of cattle to St. Paul last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. John O. Prestegaard went to Lyle Friday to visit the lat ter’s sister. Levert I. Tufte and Ole P. Botham were business callers in the village Saturday. P. J. Fibelstad is having some new floors laid in his home. Mr. Veum olf Albert Lea is doing the work. Fred Nelson has rented his farm to Chris Jensen.
