Mr. G. W. Moore, of Kansas, who was called to this county by the sick ness of his father, Mr. Anderson Moore, arrived too late to see him alive. Mr. Moore returned to his home Tuesday, only staying here three days. His hurried homeward trip was due to sickness in his family. It was a sad mission to the old home but such is life. Republican primary election to nomi nate candidates for county offices will be held in Russell county next Satur day. This office printed the ballots and they will be delivered today.It is be lieved that several of the races will be remarkably close. Smith Popplewell is a new firm at Ono, Russell county.
