DIVERTING IMMIGRANTS SOUTH, Bremen, Feb. 23.—The North Ger man Lloyd steamship company, in ac cordance with its recent announce ment, today put into effect the new plan to open an immigrant transpor tation line between Bremen and Gal veston, Texas, reducing the price from $47.50 to $37.50. The plan has been adopted to prevent immigrants from settling en masse in New York and Chicago.
