Professor Joins Library FacultyI'r. Alice Brooks McGuire hasjoined the Graduate School of Library Science as an associate professor,Dr. McGuire, a nationally known specialist in children's literature and school libraries, will teach in both the undergraduate and graduate schools. She received an AB from Smith,a RS in library science fromDrexel, an MS in library science from Columbia, and a PhD from the University of Chicago. Further experience includestea hing at Drexel, Columbia, the University of Chicago, and Syracuse, as well as serving aslibrarian at St. Stephens and Casts schools in Austin.She also has served as president of the Association of School iLibrarians and was elected to the Council of American Librarians Association
