The furnishings in the Folkerts apartment and a great deal of the furnishing in the Robert Kaiman ] apartment were burned and all badly damaged by smoke and water. The Max Siref apartment onthe second floor as well as the►sleeping rooms which he keeps for rent, were badly damaged by smoke I and water, as was the pool hall and (the stock of merchandise In the Siref store*Max could not give an estimate of the damage at that time, but stated that the loss would be heavy and was only parially covered by insurance.It is believed that the fire started from a 3-way electric light switch in the Folk oris apartment.
