Patronage appreciated and courteous treatment assured.JOHN WHITE, Prop,FUNERAL OF ALBERT HARRISMany of the older members of the order of Knights of Pythias in this parish will remember Mr. Albert Harris, of New Orleans,who was for years a visitor to the several lodges throughout the state in the capacity of tiraiiri Lecturer, ami will learn with much regret of his death, which occurred in New Oileans Sunday evening. The Daily States says:Albert Harris, prominent Pythian, will be laid to re L Monday afternoon, funeral services being held from the residence, 814 Valmont street, at 1 o’clock, conducted by Rabbi Max Heller. Knights of Pythias and the Her-mione Sisterhood will participate. Pallbearers will be Carl Newman, Isidore Morai*, Walter Green, Fred Adolph, OrlofT Lake and W. T. Pullen.Mr. Harris was one of the supreme representative* from Louisiana iu the Knights of Pythias order and held the distinction of being the only member from Louisiana ie*elected.Born in Brown's Town, Jamaica, March 20.1843, Mr. Harris was 73 years of age. His eariv days were spent on the island and he was a subject of the British flag. He was sent to school in ( inoinnati and Boston and in 1865 came here, where in 1866 he married Miss L'ebecca Rodriques, who died twenty j ears ago.Becoming interested in the Pythian order, lie organized Lexington Lodge, No. 73, Nov. 7, 1S96. He organized Loolo Temple No. 148 of die Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khoraasan, Dec. 2, 1909, in which lie was elected royal prince and secretary. He was' an accountant for years.
