“Gymn Girls” EntertainThe “Gymn Girls” of the; Academy gave an entertainment at Social Hall, night of the 20th.A select program was rendered; as follows:Music by Male Quartet; “Do this, do that.;” “The Beater goes round;” Folk dance, “Tantoli;” “Magic” Music; Viloin Solo; “B” game; Curtain ball; Refreshments and Virginia Reel.Those taking part were: Misses Lois Webb, Laverne Richards, Ina Peterson, Alice H. Smith, Margaret Butler and the “Gymn Girls;” Messrs. J. Rufus Cran-dell and members of the male quartet.The affair was by invitation, one hundred and fifty being issued, and one hundred and thirty attending.One feature of the evening’s pleasure was the appeirmce of J. Rufus Crandell and Parley P. Woolsey dressed as girls, who proceeded to show how it can be managed during Leap Year.Miss Florence Bushman took the lead in getting up the affair.
