Moss.rWhile stopping at Fort Smith Ark. a local man discovered a GeerHWr-Mrrss-that is a double for our own G$o. w. Moss. He is treasurer of iour so cieties or branches ot his church, says he-is guardian of 82 children, administrator of dozens of estates and“bhas his office in a stort room with#*plenty of room for his numerous oe-m£cupations. Signs on his office road: ‘.‘Real Estate and Rentals, Office Arkansas Building and Loan Co. Dues Payable l3ih to 20th of each month, Geo. W. Moss, local secretary”*'Geo. W. Moss Notary Public”.'“Geo \V, Moss, Juvenile Officer.” While in his office Mr. Moss released a negro boy for his mother who was charged with stealing a turkey. After the mother left lie said, “The poor boy did not get /to eat; a bite ofj the turkey, so T think one night in j the jail was enough. Now if he had gotten to eat the turkey and gotten the benefit of it, I would not havereleased him.”When told of Geo.W. Moss of Lan-caster he said the Arkansas people held him down closer than the Ohio laws and that he had no chaneo to do as our own Geo. did.
