Magness Sentenced.Grenada.—The motion of counsel foi a new trial in the case of A. P. Magness, whe was convicted of the murder of G. W. Gillon, was overruled, and Magness waa sentenced to be hanged ou March 22, 1912. His attorneys announced an appeal to the supreme court. When asked by the court if he had anything to say why the judgmeut of the court should not be passed upon him, he answered in clear voice and with no visible show of emotion, •‘Nothing exceptthat I am innocent of the crime.”-
