Norton and E. F. Blaise Are Accused by Federal Grand JuryMuskogee, Okla.—Indictment* have been returned by the federal grand jury at Muskogee against W. L. Norton of Bartlesville and Eugene Blaise of Tulsa In connection with the liquidation of the American National bank of Bartlesville and the failure of the Farmers’ National of Tulsa, about eighteen months ago, following the failure of the Columbia Bank Trust company of Oklahoma City.Seven true hills were returned against Norton, charging false entries in the books of the American National, false reports to the comptroller of the currency, and misappropriation of funds.Two true bills were returned against Blaise charging him with making false reports of the Farmers' National’s condition and misappropriation of funds. The men were presidents of the banks.Blaise was placed under arrest here Thursday. Blaise gave $2,5u0 bond in lt;*ach.
