Frederick Drummond left the country?His lawyer, Michael Ostrander of Philadelphia, citing “attorney-client privilege” on Friday would not say where the controversial senior pastor of the Church of Our Saviour in Concordville is.And officials at the church did not return a phone call.But, Drummond, the target of an ongoing federal grand jury in Philadelphia investigating alleged tax evasion and financial fraud at the church, has not been in the pulpit at the church since early February. Neither has his wife, Lorraine, been seen, sources told the newspaper.Although no one who spoke to the newspaper knew of Drummond’s exact whereabouts, church leaders have been saying that the Drummonds are in South Africa visiting other churches and that they may not be back for several weeks.Manning the pulpit in his absence is Timothy Pierce, a longtime member of the church who came to Concord ville from Missouri after Drummond’s last church collapsed in financial ruin and was sold in a sheriff’s sale.The sources said Drummond’s four children are being looked after by a babysitter at the Drummond mansion in Bethel Township.Some former members are speculating that Drummondnaay not be back and may opt to amid for his children later.
