Sites Feb. 14 forMrs. W. KreitlowFuneral services for Mrs. W. E. Kreitlow were held Wednesday afternoon February 14 at 2 p. m. at the United Presbyterian Church* The Rev. J. Curtiss Russell officiated and burial was at the Clarion Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Melvin Seifert was organist and Mr. Floyd Tourtelotte and his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Tourtelotte sang ‘Tn the Garden” and “ Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Grace Buchan and Mrs. Hazel Dahlgren. Pallbearers were Stanley Howieson, Ronald Lindsay, Kenneth Mosher, Dale Hill, Merle Paulson and Dale Dougherty. Eyler Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.Mabelle Irene Buckton, daughter of John and Carrie Buckton was born April 1, 1891 near Iowa Falls. She graduated from Dows High School with the class of 1909 and from Ellsworth Business College in 1910. She was united in marriage to William E. Kreitlow, February 11, 1913 and they established their home near Crystal Lake, Iowa. They were blessed with three children, Mrs. John Wood (Katherine) of Woden, El-win of Clear Lake and Warren of Clarion.The Kreitlows moved to a farm near Clarion in March of 1940 and resided there until 1951 when they moved to their present home in Clarion.Mrs. Kreitlow passed away suddenly at her home February 10 at the age of 70 years, 10 months %nd 9 days.She is survived by her husband, her' three children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She Is also survived by a brother Thomas Buckton of Waterloo.Mabelle Kreitlow was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Womens organizati9n of the church. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors, the VFW Auxiliary and was a past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lod-ge.
