P. Boyd. After many months -jof patient suffering, Mrs. William P. Boyd passed away at her home here Saturday afternoon. The lady had lapsed into a deep sleep on Thursdaymorning, from which she never awoke and the death angel came it seems as sweet relief to her many sufferings. Throughout her long and painful illness which it seemsbaffled the medical fraternity, she bore her afflictions with that Christian fortitude which marks the passing to better worlds of all such good people. While the family were aware that death was the only relief, theylived in hopes that something mightbe done to prolong her earthly life, and when the grim messenger cameit was indeed a sad shock, especially so for the dear children and devoted husband. But they find solace in the knowledge that they did all that loving hearts and willing handssiblv do to make her lastdays and hours on earth pleasant. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Monday afternoon with Bev. W. K. Ingalls of Jamestown in charge after which the remains were laid to rest in the Union cemetery near Clarks Hill.the latlt; cashier found with thOOn.
