His wife has been in Williamsburg for a few days and he had been staying alone.Mrs. Niinan Smith called at theI'house about 10:30 this morning; knocked but received no answer.iKnowing 'r. Windrem to be hard of hearing, she pushed open the door and discovered him lying in bed. She called to John Klenk and Herbert Eddy who entered the house and found Mr. Windrem to be dead. A doctor was summoned at once, but it was too late; he had already been dead several hours. Heart failure is given as the cause. Obituary next week.
