Programs for Lagunita’s Winter Formal tonight have been distrib uted, tall gold columns with shiny emerald green backdrops have re placed the tables in the dining room, and soft colored lights have been placed in the Court trees, ready for illumination. Eddie Fitzpatrick and his St. Francis orchestra will arrive on the scene at 9 and will provide music until 1, according to Helen Weingarten, general chairman. . A limited number of bids are still available to Lagunita and Ventuna women and their guests, according to Ellen Magnin, committee mem ber. Guests will be met in the re ception lobby by hostesses, who will conduct them to the social rooms, and will direct “exchange couples” from the Roble format. Roble women will transform the Women's Gym into a “Land of Sha limar” tonight from 9 to 1 for their Winter Formal. Tickets to the dance are on sale for $2.50 per couple at the A.S.S.U. office, according to Betty Lou Fannin, chairman. Stan Robinson and his band will provide the music. Silver-spangled, purple, and black decorations will carry out the Persian theme. A limited number of passes will be available at the door between 10 and 12 so that couples may spend a half-hour or so at the Lagunita For mal, which will be held at the same time in the Lagunita dining room. Passes will also be distributed at the Lagunita Formal so that couples may visit the Women's Gym. Committee chairmen include Ann Pedlar, Kay Parker, Vi Buxton, Taffy Countryman, Barbara Judson, Sue Thompson, Charlotte Fair, Jo Diamos, Barbara Moore, Joanne Berg, Janice Hood, and Nancy Jones. Approximately 100 couples will dine and dance tomorrow evening from 8 to 1 at Chateau des Arbres, Union Unit's dinner dance, Chair man Virginia Keerl announced. Main dining room and lobby will become a French chateau, with por traits of the lord and lady of the manor on the walls, and pictures of the French seacoast. Special guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. White, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Smith, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Bell, and the Misses Elizabeth Hartshorn, Florence Smith, Hazel Spore, and Helen Hawkes. Chairmen who have planned the dance are Miss Keerl, Marty Jen sen, Gail Shinstrom, Doris David son, Enola Andrews, Mary Beth Smith, Cathy Morris, and Elaine Willardson. ,
