The St. George Seniors soundly trounced St. Aloysius B to the tune of 39—9. The Intermediates ran over Holy Cross 30—17 and the Juniors won by a 28—19 seore.Pete Borris scored 12Samas scored 8 points to Intermediates to victory, hoping that they keepand A1 lead the Here’s to theirwinning ways.IN the Vets’ Bowling League on Sunday afternoons the leaders are still taking a licking. Joe’s Bar and the Omarlo boys are tied for first place with 54 points. The Mihcic and Dunbar Cafe outfits are close behind with 53 points each. Augie Norbut leads the league with a 185 average and Father Ivan is right behind with a nice 184.ST. GEORGE Post 613 C.W.V.is bursting with activity. Their Valentine Dance on the 13th drew a nice crowd. During the Lenten season they are sponsoring a pinochle tournament. The games are played every Thursday. Those who are interested are invited to drop around.The Vets also announce that they are organzing an Auxiliary Corp. All mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters of veterans are eligible. Those who are interested in joining should attend the next Vets’ social on Wed., February 26, at 8 P. M. This is not a sewing circle but a swell chance to get together anda swell time. Ping pong, games, and refreshments are just a few of the doings down at Sf. George’s Auditorium. The Vets extend a cordial invitation for all those interested to attend.BILL DIJA, a member of Post613 witshest to know of 4 or 5 rooms in the neighborhood of St. George that he might rent. Bill was evicted last year and was forced to move way out to Lakewood. He’s married and a veteran of three and a half years in the Navy. Pete Borris, Charlie Ma-chuta, George Dereska, and A1 Samas made a spur-of-the-rrioment tripto Detroit Saturday night. They almost got stuck in Canada, too. A1 is still calling nightly about that ring he lost. And why must you always ply ‘Sentimental Reasons, boy? Tessie Butkus is radiating with Florida vitamin D. also. Some people fot it, that’s all!
