MRS. CATHERINE DAVISMrs. Catherine M. Davis, widow of Samuel Davis, died Wednesday morning, February 21, 1946 at 4:45 o’clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wertz, 600 North Tenth street, following an illness of two years.Mrs. Davis was born at Ginter, in Clearfield county, on March 17, 1868, the daughter of Alexander and Maria (Fox) Ream, and had been a resident of Bellwood for the past fifty years.Survivors include one daughter, IMrs. Della Wertz, at whose home shedied; and two sons, Harry Davis, Bell-wood, and Clair Davis, Altoona. One sister and one brother, Mrs. Lucy ^Robinson, Akron, Ohio, and Thomas Ream, of Ginter; 21 grandchildren and 24 great - grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Davis was a member of the Bellwood Lutheran church. Funeral services were conducted from the Geo. E. Fuoss mortuary.
