With a wealth of material for the field events, a better and stronger collection of cinder stars has never before been seen at N. A. T. C.With a backward spring which will mean that the College will have to go | to the expense of putting in a wooden track or secure some suitable field on which to work out, the College will find itself slightly handicapped over .teams from the valley that have already turned out for training. The call for track men at U. of A. and oth-[ er valley schools has already been made, and teams are being rapidly • rounded into condition for the season’s - meets.Plans are under way to send a rep-j rewentiitive team to the Green way field meet at Phoenix the same as last year and a meet has already been ar-’ ranged here in May with the Univer-t sity of New Mexico. Possibilities are that this meet will be made triangular j if the University of Arizona accepts the invitation extended them to par-' ticij)ate, An arrangement is also being worked out for a meet at Santa | Barbara \^ith the Santa Barbara ‘ Teachers College.Whether N. A. T. C. will have j good team depends a great deal on the condition the track here can be put | in for workouts.
