Feb. 21.—Police la^t 4 nij-Tht extended their search for tlmmurderer who killed Jane Shackleford and Elias Woodfork, aged colored people, in their home here, to Columbus without success. The suspect, the police ‘-ay, left Newark Friday, but they have been unable to trace his movements beyond this city.Funeral of the victims will be held Monday afternoon at the A. M. E church here. Coroner W. L. Jackson will conduct an inquest tomorrow. His autopsy, held today revealed that the woman was struck many times, while the man was killed with a single blow of the club, which the nolice found in the house.
