Yes, we have a newspaper, now.The people are all over their burglar scare.There is a great interest being taken in the meetings at the M. E. Church; the attendance is so large that there is hardly standing-roomleft.Our school will be out in about three weeks.Miss Maggie Duncan, of Conners-ville, is visiting Mamie Launder-ville, of this place. That is why Charley Howard has such a grin or? his face.Mr. Scaulan was here this week looking after the interests' of; his quarry.The quarries have opened up and Pitz McNutt and James Bush are with us again.B. F. Mason, Jr., has put a stock of groceries in the Odd Fellows’ building.Our band is progressing nicely now. They will soon have another play ready for the public. Look out for something great this time.If you want good water melons this summer call on J ; ElmerGuess.We are to have two new.^quarries this season.
