TWO WOMEN CHARGED WltH MtJRDER.At Chester, on Thursday,two yotihg women, named Elizabeth Davies and Jahe Lloyd, were charged with . the murder of Wm, McfrriB. James Rogers, a labourer, aaw tbe prisoners, ■one of-whom lodgikl with him, in company with tire deceased on the canal tank, at night. They-crossed a foot bridgeov* the canal,* and shortly afterwards he heard a splash as of a man falling into the canal. The young women came running hack uctobb the bridge langhing. Witness asked thdm Who hrfd fallen into the canal, and the girb said some tone was throwing stones. Witness believed deceased was in the canal, and tried unsuccessfully to find him. Subsequently at witness’s house one of the prisoners accused the other of mur- ] dering Morris by throwing him into the canal.—The ! prisoners were remanded. I
