MESQUITE DAILY NEWS, Sunday, F ebruary 20, 1SV2 Page — 2Leukemia Association BoardSidney Levit, (right standing), Manager of the new products development for Coca-Cola Bottling Company, is chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Leukemia Association of North Central Texas. Joining him on the board are three others vitally interested in the battle against leukemia, Mort Katz, (left standing), vice president of the Association and professionally a psycologist with practices inboth Dallas and Fort Worth, and his wife, Ellen Loeb Katz. Mrs. Katz, xwho is known professionally as Dr. Ellen Loeb, serves double duty' in leukemia, working full time at the WadleyInstitutes of Molecular Medicine as a practicing physician, and also occupies the office of medical advisor to the Leukemia Association and M. T. (Buddy) Minyard, president (seated). Each has been vitally interested in the successful fund-drive of the Leukemia Association of North Central Texas, with a goal of $81,000. Some 9,000 volunteers have participated in the house-to-house campaign, as well as a direct mail campaign to business and certain individuals. The drive has progressed well according to M. T. Minyard and half the goal has been reached and contributions continue to come in.I \ A / _ I
