A very pretty wedding was cele brated at St. Emmanuels church, Yarrunga, on Saturday, Jan. 31st, when Jessie Ann, only daughter of M. and Mrs.. Richard Waples, ‘Ash mount,” Fitzroy Falls, was married to Charles William Trotter, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Trotter, “The Holme,” Avoca, Rev. A. G. Perkins officiated and Mrs. Perkins presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a frock of white crepe satin, lined with pink georgette. The veil of embroidered Brussell's net was kindly lent by her Aunt, Mrs. Shorter, of Bargingarry; she car ried a shower bouquet of white and ink gladioli. Miss V. Trotter, sister of the bridegroom and Miss M. Ward (Sydney) cousin of the bride were bridesmaids. Both looked neat in green floral georgette and hat to match. They each carried bouquets of white and pink gladioli. Mr. R. Waples and Mr. FE. Waples acted as best man and groomsman respective ly. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s parents, all the usual toasts were honored. The bride’s mother received the guests in a smart dress of oriental crepe pompadour with hat to match and carried a posy of asparagus. The wedding cake was of three tiers, and was a present to the bride from her uncle, Mr. James Adams. The hap py couple left by train from Moss Vale for their honeymoon, spent at Lane Cove. The bride travelled in a frock of green crepe-de-chene with hat to match. The numerous costly presents testified to the popularity of the happy couple amongst a wide circle of friends.
