Born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert War ren a fine girl the 9th. We are having some fine weather. The farmers have finished breaking their land. We are glad to report these on the sick list improving. Mrs. Lillie West visited relatives in Ballinger and Coleman Saturday and Sunday. Miss Gussie Burrows visited her mother in Ballinger Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Guss Gearheart went to Winters Friday. Mesdames, Fred Gearheart, Tun nells, Billie Reese, Lucy Wood and Miss Opal Guy visited the school Friday afternoon. The teachers pre pared Valentine boxes for the child ren, they all received quite a num ber of Valenties and had a nice time. Messrs. Henry Cummings, Andrew Cable, Andrew Cummings,Henry Seals and Rev. Autrey went to Win ters Saturday. R. A. Bishop and family visited in the Tokeen community sunday, Mrs. Jim Seals visited her aunt, Mrs. W. F. Meadows in Winters Fri day. Mrs. Howard Wheeler and child ren of Sweetwater came home with her mother, Mrs A. N. Cummings Sunday on a visit. Miss Fay Seals visited Miss Drus set Boyington Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Hill of Benoit visit ed their son, Auther and family Sun day. Mrs. and Mrs. Bill Worthington went to Eagle Branch Sunday to at tend church. Rev. Preston Braxton filled his regular appointment Sunday after noon. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and baby visited in the former's sister, Mrs. Charlie Bartee near Talpa the latter part of the week. Mrs. Edgar Branham and child ren visited her mother, Mrs. T. H. Hill in Ballinger Saturday and Sun day. We are sorry to report Mr. and Mrs. Stanley’s baby being sick. Mr. S. E. Hunt, local ticket agent of the Abilene Southern, is build ing a modern 6-room bungalow south of the depot, in Westmoreland addi tion. Wise men think, Fools talk.
