JOHN BAKEMAN OFSNOHOMISH DIED ON LAST MONDAYSNOHOMISH, P'p11. 17.—Death ofJohn Bakeman, pioneer of Snohomish, occurred Monday night. at his homo in that rify. Mr. Bakeman mnde a (rip to Son (tie 1 a -1 week and seemed in his usual good health, lie was S6 years old. Funeral an-nounoemeiit waits on word from his son, John F. Bakeman, of Oakland, Calif. Other members of his family surviving are his wife. Louisa Bakeman: a daughter, Mrs. if. .la'kson, of Seattle; and his other sons, c. H. Bakeman, W. F. Bakeman of Snohomish, and (B'orge Bakeman of Seattle. There are alsoseven grandchildren and severgreaI grandrhi 1 dren.It was in 18S4 Mr. Bakeman came to this state from Peshtigo, Wis.. and purchased a I'M* acre tract near the townsile of Snoho mish where he lias resided most of trie tirm since (hen.
