NEWS FROM SANGER. SANGER, Feb. 17.—Rev. Turner will preach at the Preasbyterian church tonight. The week-old infant son of Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Rice died about noon today. It is thought the recent dry cold has killed the volunteer cats. The Valentine social given by the W.W. H. M. society at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Hale was a success, $26 being raised for church purposes. Mrs. Annie Pierce of Valley View visited Mrs. Fred Elsassar last week. Mrs. J. B. »wells of Cooke county is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Hender son, who has two sick children. Mrs. Julia Murtrey returned home this afternoon. Mrs. Hale entertained a few cou ples of young people at her residence Saturday night. Refreshments were served. The Senior League is arranging for a party to be given February 22 at the opera house Miss Loraine Watson will entertain the Junior Union at her home Fri day night. Dc. M. Smith went to Fort Worth Thursday. The little child of Mr. and Mrs. Martin is convalescing, it having been very sick with bronchial penumonia. Mrs. Lara Peter, formerly of San ger, who has been visiting relatives here, left Monday for her home in New Mexico. Robert Green v. Rogersville Tean., father of Postmaster H. LD. Green, left for his home Monday after a several weeks’ visit here.
