Terrible Parricide.* * * • • •On* of the moat shocking occurrences that it has ever been our duty to record, occurred in Highland township, in this, county, on Monday evening last. Henry Ihmsen, an old and respectable German^cuizen, living a few miles from this place;-was murdered by his own son, William Ihmsen. The particulars we have not learned. We understand that the family were sitting at the euppier table, when the father and son began to dispute about some mat' ters. The eon, became greatly excited, and leaving the table, rushed up stairs, got his revolver, returned and deliberately shot his father dead upon the spot. The eon, we learn, is or lias been a member of Willich’s German regiment. He has made his escape. It is to be hoped that no efforts will be spared to bring this terrible offender to justice.
