Blomquist came back after losing the first set to defeat McCracken, 10-15, 15-13, 7-0, Monday night to spark Class A Volleyball play. R. S. Pickens led the winners with his brilliant spiking. Student fans continued to crowd Gregory Gym as the season draws nearer to a close and Monday night was no exception as many wit nessed the 13-game schedule. In other A action Lambda Chi Alpha downed Phi Sigma Kappa behind the excellent serving of G. S. Tilton who scored ten points in the three set match. Beta Theta Pi beat Kappa Sigma as James Templeton led the way with his spiking. Sigma Phi Epsilon overpowered Phi Delta Theta in a two set match as Gerald Lott scored ten points for the winners on top of his good spiking job. Sigma Alpha Mu de feated Phi Sigma Delta as Arnold Saltzman led the way with stellar spiking. In Class B action the best game was provided by Lambda Chi Al pha and Sigma Chi as it took the full three sets to decide the win ner, but Lambda Chi Alpha came out on top due to the good serving of Robert Twaddell. And Roberts downed FGH Sim kins in a very close match with Ronald Cravens’ spiking providing the difference. Beta Theta Pi de feated Phi Sigma Kappa in a three set match with the serving of Bob Gowan leading the way to victory. Pi Kappa Alpha, led by Carl Noel's spiking, beat Phi Kappa Psi in another close match. After win ning the first set from the Sigma Phi Epsilon, Hensel Murchison’s spiking proved too much for the Kappa Sigma’s, ‘Mural Scores Close A—Ser Phi yen over Phi Delta Theta 1 15-11. Blomquist over McCracken 10-18, 15-13, 7-0. Lambda Chi Alpha over Phi Sigma Kappa 15-9, 13-15, 9-7. Beta Theta Pi over Kappa Sigma 15-8, 15-11. Sigma Alpha u over Phi Sigma Delta_15-8, 15-7. Class B—Delta Tau Delta over Theta Xi 15-1, 15-5. Delta Kapne Epsilon over Delta Upsilon 15-2, 15-9. Black Hall over Moore Hill default, Piece Alpha over Phi Kappa Psi 15-8 Lambda Chi Alpha over Sigma Xi 15-12, 16-15, 7-3. Roberts over FGH- Simkins 15-13, 15-13.
