OXFORD TOWNSHIP PIONEER GALLEDFrank S. Tomash Died Wednesday at His Home North of Town\Oxford township has lost another of its pioneers in the death of Frank S. Tomash, Sr , who died at his home four miles northeast of Oxford on Wednesday evening at ten o'clock, aged 58 years.Mr. Tomash had been in poor health for nearly a month, but it was only about a week ago that his condition became serious. Death came as a result of diabetes.* * tMr. Tomash came to this township when he was a small boy and has been one of its continuous residents for fifty years. His home has always been in the River Bottom neighborhood, but his acquaintances and friends were many and he was well known in Johnson and adjoining counties. He was a man of upright character, loved and respected by all who knew him.He leaves to mourn his loss hi*wife, two daughters, Mrs. JohnGrabin, of Oxford township, andMrs. Frank Lopata, of Linn county;three sons: Charles, Frank and Joe,all of Oxford township; one brother, John, of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters: Mrs. Anna Grabin, of Oxford; and Mrs. Agnes Coufal, of Coufails, V. Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday'morning at ten i o'clock. Interment will be-made in | the Grabin cemetery.n«t
