Ladoga Herald: Several yearsago a fellow named Taylor Edwards married a girl named Ellis, who had GO acres of land. They wanted to sell the land and tor this purpose had a guardian appointed who made a deed to Undo Lewis Otterman. The Supreme Court has since decided that a married woman can’t have a guardian ; and on this ground Edwards sued tor the possession of the land. The case is eel for this term of Court. We think it dishonorable on the part of Edwards, after he had sold the land for a fair, just and valid consideration, received v nd squandered the money, to harrass the holder of the land ; and we don’t think ho can find a jury in the county that will render a verdict in his favor.
