On February 12th, 1991 the Neepawa Belles, Beaux and Builders held their public speaking and pictures. It all began at 6:45 pm with the club picture being taken by Mr. Brian Bailey. We would like to thank him for it was greatly appreciated. At 7:00 pm everyone met for the public speaking. The judges were introduced at that time. They were Lori Cathcart, Beulah Davidson, Ron Hutchinson, Sandra Sagin, Brian McKee and Linda Lowry. Thank you again for your help. The results of the Public Speaking are as follows: Junior: 1st Jennifer Lynn Cox “The Forgotten People”; 2nd Jackie Kerkowich “My Home”; ‘3rd Andrew Jordan “Dreams”, intermediate: 1st Leah Black“‘No Reason Why”; 2nd Jana McLaren “A Chance to Hear”; 3rd Reagan Dalgleish “Opportunity of a Lifetime”; VISUALS Junior: 1st Evie Roset “Nancy Green, More than just a Winner”; 2nd Shauna Reilly ‘A Touch of Class”, Intermediate; 1st Kerry Csversko “Clean for Green”; 2nd Mario Reid “Color Me Beautiful”; 3rd Kyla Kaye “How to Make Chocolate Turtles”, DEMONSTRATIONS 1st Cheryl Lee and Dana Radcliffe “Facecloth Easter Bunny”; 2nd Lindsay Miller and Corrie Cavers “Bump, Set Spike”; 3rd Melissa Johnson and Angela Wilson “Fun, From Another Land”. All of the members received $2.00 from the Rebekah Lodge. This is greatly appre ciated. Thank you to Darrel §. Reid Ltd, Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Bank for their dona tion of trophies. The winners of the Public Speaking will be competing in the District Level on Feb. 25th and 27th at H.M.K.
