Robert Floyd Ore, of 1204 Casey Avenue, died at 9:30 a. m. Sun day at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had been a patient for two days. Mr. Ore, a steel and concrete construction superintendent, was 79 years, one month and 12 days of age. He was a member of A. F. A. M. No. 31 and for many years had been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 755. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. at Myers The Rev. C. L. Finley will officiate and burial will be in Sursa cemetery. The body will lie in state at My ers Chapel, where friends may call at any time. Mr. Ore was born January 5, 1878 in Knoxville, Tenn., the son of Ransom and Caroline (Hedge e@ock) Ore. He had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for 50 years. He was married to Daisy Mc Mabb, who preceded him in death, are one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Beard of Mt. Vernon; @son, Carl of Harvey, DL; and two grandsons.
