Mr. and Mrs. Joseph EB. For rest Sr., of 505 Ryanard road, Gar den City, have announced the en gagement of their daughter, Miss Shirley Anne Forrest, and Kenneth Kirkpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Kirkpatrick, of 1209 Pine Lane, Buckman Village. Miss Forrest is a graduate of Nether Providence High School, class of 1851, and is employed in the business office of the Chester Times. Mr. Kirkpatrick, a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1950, is employed in the circulation de partment of the Chester Times. No date has been selected for the wedding. aene Patchel-Borton Miss Patricia Anne Borton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. How ard Borton, of 151 Elmwood av., Norwood, and Roger F. Patchel Jy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger F. Patchel, of 103 E. 4th st., Me dia, were united in marriage on Saturday at 2.30 o’clock at Crum Lynne Baptist Church. Rev. Dan iel Bartow officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a ballerina length gown with a bod ice of Chantilly lace and a skirt of nylon net over satin with appli qued lace flowers on it. Her shoul der length veil fell from a cap of Chantilly lace. She carried a bou quet of white roses and sweet peas. Miss Dorothy Landis, of Spring field, was her cousin's only at tendant. Her gown was of turquoise blue silk of ballerina length with matching jacket and cap. Her bouquet was of red and white car nations arranged in the shape of a heart. Irvin Worrell, of Mediz, was the best man. The ushers were Jerry Barton, brother of the bride, and Donald Linville. Mel Peterkin and Rev. Barton, were the soloists. A reception at Green Shutters, Upland, followed the ceremony. When Mr. and Mrs. Patcher Jr.. return from a wedding trip to Washington, D. C., and Atlantic City, N. d., they will live on Had sbourne road, Stonehurst Hills. ‘The bride is a graduate of Glen Nor High School and attended State Teachers College, West Ches ter. She is employed by Sun Oi! Company. Mr. Patchel Jr. was graduated from Media High School and at tended Pennsylvania State College Center, Swarthmore. He is em ployed by Sun Oi] Company. t McElwee-McGeehan The marriage of Miss Belly G. McGeehan, daughter of Mrs. Owen F. McGeehan, of 1195 Haverford road, Crum Lynne, and the late Mr. McGeehan, and Edward McElwee, of Winona avenue, Norwood, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McElwee, of Hazelton, was sol emnized on Saturday at 11 o'clock job St. Rose of Lima Roman Cath olic Church, Eddystone. Rev. Mau rice J. Horn performed the cere mony. Mrs. Joseph A. Krieg, of Crum Lynne, was her sister's only at tendant. The best man was Joseph A. Krieg. A breakfast for the wedding par ty and family was held after the ceremony at Walkers-on-the-Del aware. Mrs. McElwee is a member of tthe faculty of Woodlyn School, Rid ley Township School District. Mr. McElwee is employed by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton Corp. Mr. and Mrs. McElwee are smaking their home in Crum Lynne, om fhod |Crovette-Pettyjohn . Horace Fertyjohn, of Milford, Del., announces the marriage of his daughter, Miss Emma Elza beth Pettyjohn, who is also the daughter of the late Mrs. Petty john, and Felix Richard Crovetto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix L. Cro vetto, of Faulk road, Booth's Cor ner, on Jan. 31 at Avenue Meth odist Church, Milford. Rev. Roy L. Tawes officiated. Mrs. Rona W. Prender, of Rose rmont, was the bride's only attend ant. The best man was Herbert Walls, of Wilmington, Del. The bride is a graduate of Mil born High School and Wesley Jun ior College. Mr. Crovette, a graduate of West Chester High School, is a senior f ar Wesley Junior College. He served four years with the US Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Crovello are mak ing their home with his parents.
