Mrs. Elizabeth Hanson, 70, passed away Wednesday evening at 6:15 o clock in St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids. She had in the last seven years. Funeral services were held in the United Brethren church in Shueyville at 2 o'cock Saturday afternoon with burial in Ridgewood cemetery, near North Liberty. Elizabeth Lentz was born in Au gust, 1866, in Madison township, west of North Liberty. She was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Lentz, Jr., and was a lifelong res ident of Johnson county. Her hus band, Mr. Howard H. Hanson, passed away in August, 1986. . Surviving are four sons, R. I. Hanson of Marion; L. O. Hanson of Fairfax; George Hanson, Sr. of North Liberty, and R. C. Hanson of Cedar Rapids, and a daughter, Lela Banto, of Cedar Rapids. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and one real grandchild; three brothers, John Lentz of Mount Vernon, L. L. Lentz and Charles Lentz of North Liberty, and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Bowman and Mrs. C. P. Wray of North Liberty.
