Charges Of Former Assembly-man Refuted By Inspector 'After InvestigationComplete exoneration of Traffic. Officer Neel F, Henderson of Mer- i cod county at- chnrgca of conduct unbecoming nn officer* preferred by George A. Lynch, is made in a formal report filed yesterday with the fnotor vehicle department, 3*c rabioato, by State Inspector James A. Morrison of Modesto,“From my investigation,117 summarizes Morrison. “there is no reason for any complaint from Mr. Lynch/*Speed and SotiJe Lynch, manager of the city pen-si on fund nf Lns Angeles and a former assemblyman, made the charges agaiust Officer Henderson when arrested near Livingston recently cm a charge of speeding.At flio time of the arrest thn Lor. Angeles official waa .accompanied by Mr. Nettie Taff of Las (Angc-lop. reported to bn a nation ally-Icnown temperance lecturer. While Officers Henderson and C. W. CaiT were talking with Lynch, Mrs. Tali is said to have reached in. the back of tho automobile, seized a bottle of undetermined contents/ and thrown it to Hie side of the road..Warrant ^ Out The traffic officers thereupon took Lynch aud his companion to tlie justice court at Livingston, where he pleaded guilty to drlvlug fifty miles an hour and was fined S25. And .at the time Morrison was compiling his report, the fine had not been pa.ilt;L though the former- -assemblyman - promised the court lie .would hand over the money within a few days.
