Dr. J J. Barefoot Dead.This (Thursday) afternoon when the forms of The Gleaner were being made ready to go to press the news of the death of Dr. J. J. Bare- 1 foot, one of the leading physicians of 1 the county, is received. He expired at his home here at 3:30 o’clock this , afternoon. The news will be a great shock to all who knew him. lie had been ijl only since last Friday and rapidly developed a most stubborn case of pneumonia. His fellow physicians did all they could for his relief. Dr. Harry Moore, an eminent physician of Greensboro, was with him yesterday and returned again this afternoon. He leaves a widow and two small sons. At this writing the funeral arraugenients have not been perfected.
