The funeral of Mrs. Effie Sweet who died quite suddenly in Lo Angeles last Sunday took place this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. N. A. Stone, her sister-in law. The deceased was the wife of M. D. Sweet who moved from Blackfoot about eight years ago leav ing many friends who sincerely with him in the son of his devoted wife, who was the daughter of Chas. LeFever of the Lost River country. She is also mourned by several brothers and sisters. Rev. Edwards, a former and popular pastor of Blackfoot has arrived from LaGrands, Oregon, to con uct the finneral. Deceased was 34 years of age. Superintendent Varley of the local sugar factory informs us that he is installing new boilers, the latest and best, steam boilers made. They are known an the Sterling boilers, and their coat and installation will be about $50,000. Subscriber.1 The Optimist.
