PENSION MONEY NOW BEING PAID VETERANSCheck Was Received This Week From Pension CommissionerThe 139 pensioners in Butts county are being paid this week, the $8,310 due this county having been received this week.The check came in the first of the week and a large part of the money has already been paid out. The patient veterans are now rejoicing upon being paid the money due them.The pension money is late in being paid this year, on account of the depleted state of the treasury. The money should have been available several days ago, but when the teachers were paid the pensioners had to wait until some money came in.Under the head of old class widows, who receive $60 a year, there are fourteen names as follows: Mrs. J Z L Bailey, Mrs. Mary Ann Edwards, Mrs. S G Etheridge, Mrs. Emaline Evans. Mrs. C.
