Kenwood High School Announced many honors and congratulations to its students last week:The Art Department announced the Scholastic Arts of 1972 winners: Key Finalists in National Competition were Pamela Crittendon, Siri Kildegaard, and Sharon Shiraiwa.Key Awards went to Michele Abramson, Leslie Dowdell, Gizela Recek, Christine Shiu, Steven Steptoe, and CathyWatson.MERIT AWARDS went to Leslie Doedell, Andre Jenkins, Denise Jones, Michele McMorris, Lisa Randleman, Jerome' Woodward, and Sylvia Wong. These are projects will be on exhibit At Weiboldt’s State Street store, 7th floor-Center from a reception Saturday, February 12th through Saturday, February 26th. The Key Finalists will go on to National competition sponsored by the ScholasticMagazine.The Home Economics Department announced that Stephanie Jackson, a Senior, was selected as Kenwood’s “Future Homemaker of Tomorrow” by receiving the highest score on the Betty Crocker written Examination which was given on December 7,1971 at the high school.Miss Elizabeth T. Mollahan, the principal, has announced the Kenwood Honor Roll for the second 10 weeks period.
