Morgantown, W. Va., Feb. 15. (?)— The Monongahela-West Penn Pub lic Service Company, the West Vir ginia subsidiary of the West Penn Power Company, and the Preston County Light and Power Company, controlled by H. C. Greer, of Pitts burgh and Morgantown, are engaged in a merry war to supply electric power to Dellslow, a small com munity of about fifty families in this county. The first skirmish before the county court here today went to the Preston county company. It has a franchise granted by the court a month ago and it has its line completed and power in the line, it was staced to the court. The West Penn, admittedly caught nap ping, attorneys declared to court, has failed to obtain its franchise but has done some work on its line along the state highway under a per mit from the state road commission he is now seeking a county Iran. Both companies have signed con tracts, they state, to furnish power to the same people and the first to reach the field will get the business.
