Impressive Services Mark Dedi cation of Fine New Organ. MUSIC BY ST.MICHAEL’S CHOIR Visiting Priests and Local Clergy Assist— Mozart’s “Magnificat” Rendered by Choir—“Oh! Salutaris” as Duet. The Holy Cross church celebrated a pleasant occasion yesterday, when the ceremony of blessing the new organ occurred. This organ was manufactured by the Hinnus Organ Co., of Pekin, Iil., and is the largest size of the one manual organ, it has 503 pipes. The instru ment was installed in January and cost $825.00, it's purchase,and the enthusiasm of the congregation over this addition to their church’ equipment serve to indi cate the valuable work done by Father Jagaciski, who has been in charge of the parish for the last year. A choir of seventeen came down from St Michael's church, South Chicago, accompanied by their organist and di rector; Charles Kowalski. Father Kotecki, Father Hrode,Father Wojaliwicy and Father Zerchewski, of South Chicago, and Father Dunne and Father Kollar, of Joliet, assisted in the services. The choir of St. Michael's came down on the 6:30 a.m. train, and the priests from South Chicago came down on the 5:30 a. m. train, in order to be in time for the early service, and their kind ness was fully appreciated.
