MURDERED MAN'S GHOST.Seen DnfBing a Trunk of Money 3tolen Many fears Ago.Ten years ago an old Herman family living in a cabin ia a dismal cedar swamp about six miles from Tatvas City, Mich., was robbed by three” masked men of a trunk containing a large sum of money. In fighting for their property one of their sons was killed.Tlie robbers were captured, convicted and sentenced to state's prison for life, but the stolen box has never been recovered, and it is thought by many to be yet concealed in the neighborhood of the tragedy.Now, after ten years, the murdered . jxuitn’s ghost suddenly appears. Arstranger who, so far as any person knows, had never heard of the tragedy, was driving past the house at the exact hour in which, ten years before, the young man was killed. His horse began to exhibit signs of fright. It final!}' became tmmanageable and dashed off at furious speed down the road. The driver, looking back, could distinctly see the figure of a man, who gave a dull phosphorescent light, dragging a trunk tip the steps.The stranger stopped at the first —Ihotnse Tirrferhmorning, wheii' an expedition set off to’'investigate.
