Funeral mass for Eloy Marin, 58, of Clovis will be Mon day at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart. Burial will follow Monday mass at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Davied and the Rev. Rick Ketterling will officiate. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mr. Marin died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1987, in Clovis. He was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Posey, Texas. Mr. Marin owned Marin Son Painting and Sandblasting. He and his wife owned Marin Tax Service and he was also co owner of Sherwood Mortuary from 1964-1978, selling to Mr. Muffley. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member, and member of the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Sacred Heart Church Eucharistic minister, Lector, Acolyte, and served on the Parks and Recreation Board for several years. He married the former Mary Esther Villa on May 10, 1950, in Clovis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Marin, and his parents, Arthur and Paula Marin. Survivors include his wife, Mary Esther; a son, Joe Marin, Clovis; six daughters, Carla Noice, Clovis, Mary Frances Carlo, Roswell, Marcia Carson, Enfield, Conn., Debbie Race, Clovis, Janet Case, Amarillo, Texas, and Paula Norton, Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Ernest Marin, Fort Collins, Colo., Richard Marin, Denver, Colo., and Raymond Marin, Fort Collins, Colo.; seven sisters, Margaret Gonzales, Alliance, Neb., Jane Soto and Bonnie Gamino, both of Cheyenne, Wyo., Lucy Italiano, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Gloria Helzer, Fort Collins, Angie Shores, Greely, Colo., and Shirley Schuler, Tempe, Ariz.; his step-mother, Irene Marin, Greeley; and seven grand children. Casket bearers will be Dr. Coy Little, Clark Strickland, Johnny Eastwood, Jon Pressley, Robert Gambill, Robert Lucero, C.D. Kelley and Judge Dee C. Blythe. Honorary bearers will be Ash Grandy, Allan Haynes Sr., Chuck Keiser, Chester Drummond, Jamie New, Richard Ruther, the Rev. W.C. Green, Glen Sizemore, the Rev. Curt Wood, Nolan Beaver, the Rev. Rick Ketterling, L.H. Thomas, Frank Murray, John Hansberry, Weldon Hawk, Ray mond Mondragon, Levelle Ashley, members of the Rotary Club and all friends. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Heselton Funeral services for Dessie Heselton, 68, are pending with Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Heselton died Saturday in Portales. Eloy Marin
