Businesses Open In Shannon ParkTwo new businesses have begun operations in Shannon Park on Highway 24 west near the Midwest Linen enterprise.Vern Green, chief stockholder, has announced that his plumbing supply business, known as Leigh Supply Co., is now open and that he and John Weant, co-owners of Crown Press Inc., have begun printing operations in the Park.Another business, to be completed in the near future, is Boutique Unique, a business featuring handcrafts, jewelry, art and handcrafted imports, to be managed by Mrs. Vern (Marjorie) Green.Weant will do commercial printing of business forms, stationery, etc., in photooffset, rapid press printing, specializing in two-color work.Prior to joining Green, Weant was assistant production manager for Diversified Map and was employed at the Moberly Message. He is married to the former Cora Lee Powell, and he and his wife and son, John Lloyd, 3, live at 300 South Fourth street.Officers for the businesses are, for .
