The sniveling hypocrisy 'that stands with, a Bible in one hand and a bribe in the other has been thoroughly exposed heretofore in the articles of Ida Tar bell in McClure’s Magazine and in the widely published Standard Oil letters.It has now again been revealed working as ever, indirectly and In the dark, to corrupt political life, control public action and wreak private revenges. Congress should end this dollar despotism., this tyranny of wealth, this arrogant autocracy of privilege.The first step toward this end should be the taking over by the government of these Carnegie and Rockefeller foundations and of all similar foundations, to be CO1 NTROLLED BY THE STATE AND OPERATED IN THE INTERESTS OF THE CITIZENS.
