Bothwell is attending law school at Albany, New York. ~Prof. Boisson says that the Eoglish language is “ nigger German.” ~Carlyle is suffering from physical, as he has long been from mental, dyspepsia. —Agnassiz says, we study nature in the house, but when we go out of hooxe we can not find her. On temperance, Mr. Fitzgerald made an eloquent speech; he moved the ladies from their seats. —Miss Laura L. Turner now presides over the Hesperian Society. Emma R. Jennings is secretary. 66. Bed. A. Bradley was in town the other day, looking well and natural. New Albany is still his home. —Tennyson is growing very old and crabbed, and modestly believes he is the only true poet now living. 69. W.D. Bynum resides at Wash ington, Indiana, and is prosecuting attor ney for that judicial district. 67. W. B.
