0CJ* We learn that the Jail of Ashboro, Randolph county, was burnt down a few days ago. j A runaway negro was confined in it, and it is j supposed he set Are to it. If so, he set a trap to catch himself; for the flames progressed so as to render it impracticable to get him from his cell,and he perished in the ruin.
