Mamsi.aughtek—We learn from the South Bend Register, that on Sunday evening, the 2SLh ult., a fearful homicide was committed in Marshall county, south of Ply-• mouth, Jultu S. Piper being killed in the course of'a quarrel by Samuel Shirley. The remote grounds for the .difficulty was the seduction of a relative of the laUer by the former. While fighting, the deceased got the better of Shirley when he stabbed him in the left aide, causing his death in five minutes. He was arrested and lodged inPlymouth jail, from whence we understand he is to he brought to the jail at South Bend for sate keeping Jur parties formerly weie fast friends.
