College Riot.—There was quite an excitement in Hanover lust week, in consequence of outrageous and most disgraceful proceedings of some of the students ot the University. They torn the blinds from the church, broke open the vestrv, into which they entered, and committed wanton injuries upon the pulpit, cushions. C., to the value of more than a hundred dollar*, shivered the lumps, spilling the oil over the floor and carpet*, •ic., C. It was apparnntlv a drunken frolic! aud it would have been 110 more than justice if those engaged in it had been turned over to thesevcritv of the law, instead of being subject to accademical strictures aud nominal fines.—Journal.
