William Cook, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cook of Valier, died Fri day of last week in a hospital in Beckley, West Virginia. Young Cook had been employed in a mine at Glen Rogers, West Va., and suf fered a fractured pelvis bone which caused his death. He had been employed there for the past six months. The body arrived at his parents’ home Sunday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1 P. M. in the Miners’ Hall, Walter. Rev. White, pastor of the Methodist church in that city officiating. Burial was in the Maple Hill Ceme tery in Lesser,
